DIY nail wheel

Recently i was thinking of a way i could display my nail polishes so i decided to make a nail wheel. This is a fun and colourful way to display all of your nail polishes. All you need is some free time and ...

1. Cotton buds
2. A blank CD
3. Gel glue
4. Fake nails
5. Scissors
6. Blank paper
7. Pen

and of course your collection of nail polishes

First you trace the cd on a piece of paper twice and then glue it down on both sides.

Next you should cut your cotton buds evenly in half.

Get your glue and fake nails and put glue on a fake nail and some glue on the cotton bud.

Then press cotton bud onto nail and hold for 10 seconds. Repeat this step for how many nails you have.

Paint each nail a different colour and wait to dry

And put some glue on the end of the cotton bud and on the CD and press for 10 seconds

Finally write each name of the nail polish on the front of the CD

and volià you have your own DIY nail wheel

Hope you enjoyed

Music Review: Sheezus by Lily Allen

The album Sheezus was released May 2014 and i have to say it's my favourite album of this year. I have had a long love affair with Lily Allen, ever since her first album. I would have to say she is the first artist that i truly loved (well one i would admit). I will say that i am listening to this album as i'm writing this. It's not just her voice but her message. Her lyrics really mean something and speak to me. They just stick in my head, round and round again. So here is her album.

1. Sheezus

2. L8 CMMR
3. Air Balloon
4. Our Time
5. Insincerely Yours
6. Take My Place
7. As Long As I Got You
8. Close Your Eyes
9. URL Badman
10. Silver Spoon
11. Life For Me
12. Hard Out Here
13. Interlude
14. Who Do You Love?
15. Miserable Without Your Love
16. Holding On To Nothing
17. Somewhere Only We Know

If someone asked me my favourite song, from this album i honestly couldn't tell you, the songs are just so different. "Somewhere Only We Know " for when i'm feeling sad or "URl Badman" for when i just need to dance. But if i had to pick a song that had the best lyrics i would probably say "Sheezus" or "Hard out here". The reason i love this album is because each and every song has a different message. Plus i just love Lily Allen she's always had the attitude that, i don't care what people say i'm just going to be myself. She may not be everyone's cup of tea but i love her.

But if you take anything away from this post, please check out this album if you haven't already.

New York

I know this is something a little out of the blue, but i wanted to share it. I was in New York a couple months ago and i wrote this. Recently i read it and i loved how it drew a picture of New York i had forgotten.

I hope you enjoy :)

New York

July 2014

As I walk along the pavement or as the locals say “sidewalk”, people here say things weirdly but then I’d be ignorant not to think that they think I speak weirdly. My heart drums singling along to the buzzing of the people, so many people who all have places to be. Each have their own urgent mission, yet they choose this city to find it in. The city is like a symphony, the car horns sound in time with the murmur of the people. I quickly skip down the subway steps making sure not to step in any puddles. I run my metro card along the silver machine that has years of wear and tear. Everyone has a code which they follow, stay out of my way and I’ll stay out of yours. Follow it or suffer the consequences. Of course my card doesn’t work the first time I have another go and breathe out a sigh of relief.

I love this city, each person so different yet anyone and everyone fits in. Everything working in unison yet all strumming along to their own beat, I am in awe. They say New York is “the city that never sleeps” but I think the saying should be “the city that is always moving” you can take that metaphorically or literally. As I sit on the subway, thanking the gods that I got a seat my eyes start to wander. Looking at people wondering what their story is. Each so different and colourful, I wish I could talk to each and every one. Take each story and tell it through my own perspective. Sometimes I think about what it would be like to be someone else, to see the world through their eyes, worry about what they worry about, laugh at what they would laugh at.

But I am one person, in a world of so many. Yet my world feels so small, so insignificant. That’s why I like New York, because although you may not know what your life means you have all these other lives to connect to.

Beauty review: Naked 3

Hi all!

So a while back i treated myself to the infamous naked 3 palette. Now before purchasing this i did my research, if i should get the 1st, 2nd or 3rd palette. Because i'm a rose gold colour kinda girl i decided upon the 3rd palette, obviously.

This product overall is amazing, it lasts really long and is super pigmented. Also as you can see the colours are beautiful. You can get an everyday look, smokey eye or anything in between. But the downfall is the price, if you're looking for something more super drug store price then this isn't your thing.

But if you're willing to splurge £37 ($54) on it then it is well worth your money. The package comes with 12 new eyeshadows, a long mirror and a 2 ended eyeshadow brush. So i rate this Urban Decay palette 5/5 love hearts.

Hope you enjoyed my review :)
